Vijayta Narang

Vijayta leads climate fund and urban innovation ecosystem development in her role as Program Director for New York at CIV:LAB. Her focus at CIV:LAB is implementing models for stakeholder collaboration for the New York urban tech community in an inclusive manner. Her diverse professional background started with filmmaking and film producing in both New York and India. Her work ranged from ads to feature films watched by millions across the globe prior to working in Mumbai for Third Eye, a leading agency in qualitative market research on emerging consumer trends. She has worked with organizations such as UN Women, NYU’s Peace Research and Education Program and worked in Nairobi, Kenya on peacebuilding, humanitarian and development work. Vijayta holds an MS in Global Affairs from NYU where she was an International Scholar and an Advisory Board Scholar. She holds a BS in Film and Television from Boston University.
