Sara Lajam
Graduate Assistant
Sara Lajam is a current master’s candidate at New York University’s Center for Global Affairs at the School of Professional Studies. She is obtaining her degree in Global Affairs, concentrating in Global Gender Studies. She is based between New York City and Dubai. She carries a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Human Services from Zayed University, Dubai. Sara is also a graduate of the Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Scholars Program in NYUAD. She is currently a graduate assistant for PREP, working to help further advance everyone’s duties within the project.
Sara is passionate about gender equality, refugee, and children’s rights. This led her to volunteer in different settings that would allow her to use her skills to benefit. A major project she worked on and led was held in Mrajeeb Al Fhood Refugee Camp in Jordan.
Sara is fluent in Arabic and English.
